WordCamp being a volunteer-driven event, it is the volunteers that help in organizing, managing and conducting the event by giving their time, energy, willingness and love for WordPress and its lovely community.
If you share the same love for WordPress and want to give back to the community, here is your golden chance. Apply for being a volunteer at the event. You will get an inside look at how the event is managed, will get to introduce yourself to our amazing organizers.
What role does a volunteer play at WordCamp Mumbai?
- Help with Pre-WordCamp events. (If you are not available in the pre-organizing part of the event, no worries. You can be a volunteer for the event day as well.)
- Registration and swag desks.
- Managing and timing the sessions so that everything starts & finishes on time.
- Help sponsors set up their tables.
- Guide speakers to their sessions.
- Packing the swags that are to be handed to the attendee.
- Co-ordinate and help the attendees with any queries that they have at the Happiness bar.
- A lot of other micro tasks.
