The fun at WordCamps isn’t limited to just the two days of sessions. It’s also a reason for participants to party and socialise with each other, share a meal or a few drinks.

Every year we have a dinner for Speakers, Sponsors and Volunteers of WordCamp Mumbai. This year we want to open this up to all attendees, so we have organised an After Party on Sunday the 18th, March 2018 from 7:30 pm onwards.

We will have our After Party at TAP Resto Bar, Saki Naka. The cost for the after party is Rs. 1000/person in which you will be given Mocktails, Cold Drinks, Veg & Non-Veg Starters, a Simple buffet Dinner & Two coupons for two mugs of draught beer at the bar. We’ll update this post with a detailed menu shortly.

How can you attend?
Sign up using the form below to RSVP, payment can be made on the event at WC Mumbai Swag wala Desk! The Form will help us get estimates of all those interested in attending and accordingly co-ordinate with the venue to make arrangements accordingly.

Do note:

  • Our Code of Conduct is applicable to the after party as well, as this is officially organised as part of WordCamp Mumbai 2018.
  • The After Party will officially ends at 10:30 pm, this is so that volunteers and organisers can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. You can hang around and have your drinks and meals till the venue close time.
  • This deal is only WordCamp Attendees, you will need to have a valid WordCamp Mumbai 2018 ticket to join the After Party.
  • Please exact pay in cash at the venue.
  • If you pay and decide to not show up, we cannot refund the charges.

WordCamps are volunteer driven not for profit events around our favorite CMS – WordPress. Tickets are priced low to make it accessible to all WordPress Users.

Most of the funding required to organize a WordCamp comes from Sponsors. Sponsoring our WordCamp comes with all the perks mentioned on our Call for Sponsors page, but the most important is being a contributor to this event.

WordCamp Mumbai 2018 is a two day event to be held on 17th and 18th March 2018, at IIT Bombay’s Victor Menezes Convention Center. This Multi track event will speaker sessions, lightening talks, Workshops, Panel Discussions and more. The Auditorium and Classrooms have a large foyer in both the ground and first floor which will used for networking, meals and have the sponsor stalls.

Expected Participants are WordPress Users including Enthusiasts, Developers, Web Designers, bloggers and open source software supporters. Last year we saw over 600 registrations and we are hoping for the same if not a bigger crowd.

After some hiccups, we have finally managed to set up our ticketing for WordCamp Mumbai 2018.

Fruit of our labor

A few months back there was a raging debate about which Indian payment gateway plugin should go on WordCamp. Rather than picking one, some of us decided that a new plugin with various gateways merged into it one would be a nice alternative. The developers of these various plugins collaborated to make this plugin happen and it is available on Github allows others to work on it as well. I am happy to say that two of the three main developers behind this plugin are part of our Mumbai WordPress Community.

Catch #WCUdaipur this weekend!

WordCamp Udaipur is happening this weekend.

This is the first WordCamp in India this year, which is one of the many reasons why you shouldn’t miss it. Also, they have a great speaker line-up, and Rajasthan is lovely this time of the year. Need I say more!

On the sidelines of this WordCamp, Automattic is organising a cool WooCommerce Workshop for Women on at Udaipur and Mumbai. For the folks in Mumbai, we also have regular Meetup cum Workshop with speakers from Automattic.

This week is a special time for me as well with my birthday and wedding anniversary both in it, So I will be giving this one a miss to spend some quality time with my family. But, do catch some of the people who make WC Mumbai awesome, Speak and attend.
