Being a proud part of the IIT Bombay the Victor Menezes Convention Centre acts as a significant venue for WordCamp Mumbai 2018. The Victor Menezes Convention Center (VMCC) hosts a well-equipped auditorium, seminar rooms, lounges, etc that can hold several parallel sessions and poster sessions.
Victor Menezes Convention Centre is well connected to the national and international destinations via the Sahar Airport which is around 7 kilometers away from the center.
IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai
IIT Bombay was the first IIT to be set up with foreign assistance. Established in the year 1958, funds for the establishment of IIT Bombay came from UNESCO as Roubles from the then USSR government. The institute is located in Powai, one of the northern suburbs of Mumbai.
IIT Bombay was declared as an institution of national importance and was accorded the status of a university with a power to award its own degrees and diplomas.
