Supporting a not for profit cause is a powerful way to give back to the community. Helping the underprivileged or backing a good cause is a great source of joy. Whether it for the short term or long term, the progress of society can have a strong impact on people and change the way they live their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WordPress Mumbai is based on the foundation of giving back to the community. And what better way to give back to the community, then to help the Nonprofit organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping this in mind, WordPress Mumbai Community is organizing its first-ever do_action charity hackathon for local Non-Profit Organizations based out of Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the do_action charity hackathon, volunteers of the WordPress Mumbai Community help Non-Profit Organizations in building their online presence using WordPress. We understand that Non-Profit Organizations are working round the clock with a tight budget. So, with the do_action charity hackathon, the NGOs can invest their funds in greater things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

do_action events are sponsored by the WordPress Foundation where volunteers of the local WordPress community come together to plan and build brand new websites for several local nonprofit organizations in one day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WordPress Mumbai Community will also offer training to the representatives of the NGOs so that they can fully manage their website in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
